The seventh-week work meeting for all the faculty and staff from Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department of the west campus was held in the School Lecture Hall on the afternoon of 19th October, 2018.
In the first place, Director Zhang Li with the Teaching Affair Office made a periodic report on the teaching work comprising two parts: the former of which centered on the analysis of the first monthly exam of this semester and the latter of which was about the feedback on the teaching work in September. According to the detailed data of the monthly exam, Director Zhang Li carefully analyzed the monthly test results in each grade and the reflected problems. In regard to the regular education and teaching work, Director Zhang Li repeatedly stressed the need to be rigorous and put forward several requirements as well, including the writing of the teaching plans, the numbers of lecture notes submitted each month, the careful correction and re-approval of homework, the hierarchical arrangement of homework, the arrangement of the new question bank  and so on. Evidently, each reflection and summary was to create greater progress. Under Director Zhang Li’s meticulous arrangement, everyone made clear the specific requirements of the school’s future work.
In the second place, Principal Assistant Ling Qian summarized th work since the beginning of the semester, praised the innovation in teaching and research initiated by the Teaching Affair Office, teachers’ positive response and arranged the work in advance for the end of Octorber, including the First-Rate Math Lesson Contest in Junior High Schools of Anhui Province which would be held in Anqing Foreign Language School’s east campus.
In conclusion, by means of this meeting, all the teaching and administrative staff not only shared the achievements and honor, but also enhanced their sense of responsibility and mission. We greeted another Double Ninth Festival and people from Anqing Foreign Language School shall make consistent self-improvement!
